We are unable to paint Childrens faces if they are under 3 years, this is because some of the products are not Suitable for under 3's and Children that are this young also do not always understand what we are offering them.

Mads Face Painting only use Good Quality Professional Face and Body Paints that are FDA /EU/ EEC compliant, approved or have followed the guidelines.

The Face and Body Paints we use are usually Kryolan, Wolfe, Paradise (contains coco butter), Detailz, Grimas, Snazaroo, Fardel and Poly Glitters that are for Cosmetic use.

Persons that can not be painted are to include anyone under 3 years, persons who do not want to be painted or can not express a wish to be painted, anyone with an apparent skin complaint e.g Eczema, Chicken Pox, Conjunctivitis, Cuts, Bruises and anyone who seems to be unwell. (This is not an exhaustive list) and if you are unsure please inform us so that we can discuss it further. (It is up to the Client or Guardian to inform Mads Face Painting of anything that may stop you or the person you are responsible for being painted as we take no responsibility for losses or reactions at anytime).

If you think you or the person that is to be painted has sensitive skin please ask for a patch test.  (We apply a small amount of paint to the inside of the elbow and if after 60mins there is no reaction then we will be happy to paint).

Without prejudice we reserve the right not to paint any persons we feel should not be painted.

Please present us with a clean area to paint as we need to check that the area is safe to be painted on.

Water and Brushes are Cleaned regulary and we use 1 sponge per child.

Sponges are washed at a minimum of 60 degrees before we re-use them.

We will help small children into our chair and let the more capable climb up themselves (we may need to support the child when doing this)

The Parent or Guardian must stay with the child at all times! we do not and will not take responsibility for any loss or accidents at anytime.

Some clients may react to our products, we follow a strict Hygiene practise and do not take responsibility at anytime for reactions caused. The paints can also cause staining to property and again we take no responsibility. in the event of staining to the skin use a little soap and water.

We will always do our best to be sensitive to the child / Clients needs and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

As well as a safe working practise we are also aware of hazards and will try to keep these to a minimum e.g gazebo strings, tent pegs,chair and any other equipment owned by Mads Face Painting.

Please do not touch any of our products at anytime and keep children away from sticking fingers in paint pots. (This is to ensure that our Health and Hygiene Standards are kept to a Maximum). We are happy to give you a demo of our products please feel free to ask.

We reserve the right NOT to paint Offensive Symbols or Subjects.

For Private Parties we will issue you with Parent / Guardian Permission Slips. (It is up to the Booking Client to ensure that these are filled out and returned so that the persons can be painted) Mads Face Painting are unable to paint and Persons who do not have written consent of the Parent or Guardian. (sorry for any inconvenience this may cause).

Removing of face paints can be done at home with clean water and a flannel. (If slight staining occurs then a little soap may help) if soap does not help the natural oils in the body should take it away within 24- 48hours.

Glitter Tattoos can last 3 -7 days.

Glitter Tattoos are suitable for over 3 years of age.

Body contact glue are used on the skin and glitters for only body and face are used.(Cosmetic glitters)

To remove glitter tattoo, use flannel, soap and water and a good rub.

Glitter Tattoos are waterproof unless scrubbed.
